Proficiency Testing Program (US)

We welcome your interest in the XM-ONE proficiency testing (PT) program. This program is developed by AbSorber AB and Olerup Inc. in collaboration with the Immunogenetics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHU), Baltimore, MD. The programs intention is to guide clinical laboratories towards compliance with Clinical Laboratory ACT (CLIA) regulations. The XM-ONE PT program received approval by The American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) in 2011 as it meets the requirements set forth by the society. After the successful completion of 2011 year’s survey we look forward to the 2nd year of XM-ONE proficiency testing.

We will continue providing PT Survey’s for laboratories which are validated and interested in continued surveillance of their performance. New interested laboratories should print and complete the registration form (link below), and email or fax to Olerup Inc (att. Eileen Tully). Laboratories already registered need only to order subscribtion. For all laboratories subscribing for 2012, please go to the specific links below and follow the instructions.

The accuracy and standardization of crossmatch results between different centers are essential in organ transplantation and the PT survey for XM-ONE serves as an important function in accomplishing this goal. We look forward to having your laboratory participate in these biannual external XM-ONE exercises.
