Development of ABO Diagnostics

Current methods for determining antibody titers against blood group antigens have shown poor reproducibility between different hospitals. In addition, they provide limited information about the types of antibodies detected and their clinical importance.

To support the development of its ABO Column, and to provide transplant centers with an improved method for determining antibody titers against A and B blood group antigens, AbSorber is developing an assay for determining these titers. A product could be available on the market within two years.
