AbSorber strengthen its position on the important US market by acquiring NorDiag's share of Olerup Inc. AbSorber buys the company together with SSP Primers and after the
transition will AbSorber own 50 percent of Olerup Inc. and SSP Primers 50 percent.
Olerup Inc. is selling the Olerup SSP HLA typing products and AbSorbers transplantation cross
match test in the USA. The American market also includes Canada and South America. Olerup
Inc. will continue to market and sell NorDiag's product Arrow on the American market. Olerup Inc
today has 7 employees but will be increased as a consequence of the plans to further improve
the presence in the HLA market.
AbSorber now has now the opportunity to achieve a more rapid and focused organizational
growth that will strengthen the position on the American market for the transplantation cross
match test XM-ONE® as well as the Olerup SSP HLA typing products. The important North
American market represents about 40 percent of the global market.
